This person was born as Robert Lawrence Meikel, the second child of his mother and father. When he was married, he used the name and birth date of his deceased brother, Robert Lee Meichel, who had died as an infant. It is believed he did this because he wanted others to believe he was older.
He used a copy of his brothers birth certificate as his proof of his age. This came to light during divorce actions and was substantiated by his mother.Death: Self Inflicted before 1953
